When I was just getting out of ad school like most writers I had a hard time landing my first gig. So instead of whining about it (look I did plenty of that too) I came up with this stunt. I sent telegrams to top creative directors around the world asking for a job. In the end, it landed me my first gig at Ogilvy and a lot of press.
